These Terms of Service govern your use of the Jade Words app, website, and related services, including any Jade Words Pro subscriptions.

Read them as the ground rules for accounts, billing, acceptable use, service availability, and ownership.

Purchases, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are also subject to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and applicable payment terms.

Do not abuse the service or its content

Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, copy for resale, or interfere with other learners or the service itself.

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service apply to Jade Words, including the mobile app, website, support channels, and related features we make available. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must also follow any additional terms imposed by app stores, device platforms, or payment providers that you use alongside Jade Words.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you create or update your account, and keep your email address current so we can contact you about access, billing, or support.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts through unauthorized automation, or use Jade Words in a way that violates applicable law.

3. Jade Words Pro subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase such as Jade Words Pro. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial access, and entitlements may be shown inside the app or at the point of purchase.

  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel through the store or billing provider used for the purchase.
  • App Store and Google Play billing rules, along with RevenueCat or other subscription infrastructure we use, may apply to purchase management and entitlement delivery.
  • Refunds, credits, and billing disputes are generally handled under the terms of the payment platform or app store that processed the purchase.
  • We may change pricing or subscription packaging in the future, but changes will not rewrite amounts already charged for an active billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Jade Words for personal study and ordinary product evaluation. You may not:

  • copy, scrape, download in bulk, resell, or commercially republish our lessons, prompts, or website content without permission;
  • reverse-engineer, probe, overload, or interfere with the security or availability of the app, website, APIs, or related infrastructure;
  • use the service to violate law, abuse other users, send malicious traffic, or bypass feature, billing, or access restrictions;
  • misrepresent your identity, purchase status, or relationship to Jade Words.

5. Content, ownership, and feedback

Jade Words and its branding, app design, lessons, text, layout, and supporting materials are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except for limited rights needed to use the service, these Terms do not transfer ownership of the product or its content to you.

If you send feedback, ideas, bug reports, or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the service without owing compensation to you, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

6. Availability and product changes

Jade Words is an evolving product. Features, lesson content, pricing, device support, and service availability may change over time. We may add, modify, pause, or remove features when needed for product, operational, security, or legal reasons.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect compatibility with every device, or that every feature will remain unchanged forever.

7. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Jade Words at any time. You may also request account deletion through the product where available or by contacting support.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, abused billing or entitlements, interfered with the service, or created risk for other users or the platform. We may also remove or limit access if required by law.

8. Educational disclaimer

Jade Words is an educational product. We aim to provide useful learning tools, but we do not guarantee language outcomes, exam scores, uninterrupted progress, or that the service will always match every learner's needs.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jade Words will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where the law does not allow a full exclusion, liability will be limited to the minimum extent permitted and, if required, no more than the amount you paid to Jade Words for the relevant paid feature in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, billing changes, operational needs, or legal requirements. When we do, we may revise the effective date and publish the updated version on the website. Continued use of Jade Words after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
